The rates could be a tad cheaper, but it's a decent hotel if you just need to stay the night. It's not a horrible hotel whatsoever. I didn't expect much from it. The room was okay, the bed was surprisingly comfortable with clean sheets! I stayed at a 4 star hotel in the same city and found hairs under the sheets! So I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the bed. The bathroom on the other hand was kinda ick, Again, i didn't expect much from it. The breakfast was okay, not bad.The staff was nice and friendly so I can't complain about that. I saw people said crappy things about its location but, HELLO!! you're in India! I come from a third world country and it's normal to have streets that look sketchy but it doesn't mean it's dangerous. I'm a female and took a taxi straight from the airport at 1am. .I didn't feel threatened in anyway at all. So if you have an issue with that, I suggest you stay at ITC Maurya, where Barack Obama stayed when he was there. The hotel has walls surrounding it, separating it from the ghetto streets outside. Just be prepared to cough up your year's savings. =) (I'm exaggerating like how the other reviewers exaggerate). If you want super clean, paved streets without trash everywhere, then go to another country. =) India is beautiful with it's people and culture, but let's face it..it's not close to being a clean country. I can at least say that to the three cities I visited: Delhi, Jaipur, and Agra.
