A base for our stay
On arrival at the hotel, we were greeted warmly, given information about our stay and the Winter Garden for coffee etc. The room, whilst compact, was comfortable, and cleaned daily, bed turned and even though advised about not refreshing towels, was also done daily. The breakfast was continental, fresh and plenty full, which made a good start to the day. The location was good, a ten minute walk to the station, which is well connected for travel in the area. Thun itself is nice location, with quite a few things to do, before venturing further afield to Interlaken or further still.

Haven’t spent eight nights in hotel Krone it felt like home. The staff were absolutely amazing and welcoming. The location was perfect for us as it’s close to transport and easily walkable to city. We have no regrets on basing ourselves in Thun and would go back in a heartbeat. Our only regret was moving on and not using the hotel krone chain for our next stay.

Great choice in Thun
We lived the Hotel Krone. The location is amazing and everything about the hotel is wonderful. Next time I would book the larger rooms rather than the smart room. That seemed more suitable for a young couple that wanted a great accommodation but did not require a large room or a big bathroom. My party of seniors was a bit cramped but that was on me. Breakfast and options for dining were excellent

Hotel Krone
Great hotel in a really nice little town near Interlaken. We really enjoyed our stay in Thun at Hotel Krone, and the room and staff were great. It's close enough to the train station to walk, and only about 30 minutes to the main station in Interlaken. Thun was a really nice town, but unfortunately our stay was over a Sunday and a holiday Monday so most things were closed. I would stay here again.
