Communication b/w hotel & expedia needs to improve
We had reservation at this hotel in oct for 5 days, 1st time in dubai.
We got to the hotel at 2.30 am in the night. Staff member at reception said they don't have any reservation for us from Expedia. Still gave us the room saying matter will be resolved in the morning after the staff who deals with expedia reservation arrive. 7 am in the morning when we were still sleeping they called us in the room and insisted we go to the reception to resolve the matter as it was urgent. So I and my wife dress up and go the reception to find out that they never confirmed the reservation to Expedia so system did not show it, we were shocked to here this and tense as well.
Finally after explaining them that it wasn't our fault they let us stay in the hotel charging us the same amount that we had made the initial booking with. Thanks a lot London crown hotel for accommodating us.
We realized that the quality of facilities changed drastically from day to day. Torn towels to no Internet connection inside the room, even after complaining many times, as if they just turn off the router if they wish too.
