Disappointed
I have spent over 60 nights here over the last few years. At first I thought everything was great in the past. This time was a bit different. The bed and air conditioning were fine however There were a few problems. Mold in the shower, no television available due to a missing cable box, and the noise from the Resturant in the courtyard kept me till close to midnight then the music being plated in the courtyard at 8am woke me up long before my alarm clock that was set for 9:30in the morning. For the price I paid maybe I should not complain to much except that I just returned from a 33 hour flight with layovers and I was beat and wanted some rest. In the past there was always soap and shampoo in the bathroom this time nothing. I will give it another try. Yet I noticed that since they opened up Hotel Milano and the Resturant things have gone downhill for Odessa Executive Suites.

Safest part of city
Right in the heart of the safest part of the city. You can go out any time until midnight with no danger. Security and police around the main area. Breakfast excellent and the on site restaurant has quality seafood meals. Would recommend to everyone.

Best location. Large, comfortable apartment.
Location! At the very hart of the city. All points of interest near by. Apartment is nice and specious, clean and comfortable. Note that there is no elevator. You would have to walk to the floor of your room location. In our case 4th floor. Maybe issue for some people.

Great Location & Staff.
5 Star service from reception, maintenance and housekeeping staff. Any problem was resolved very quickly even if it was 2am. The apartment was well equipped and comfortable. Would definitely stay at OES again if visiting Odessa.

I've stayed at OES many times over the past several years, and I must comment what I nice job they have done with the expansion and renovations. The courtyard is really like a little slice of Italy now, done very well with live entertainment on weekends. The new restaurant is excellent and a huge improvement over previous cafe. Location is second to none, and if you can catch a holiday vacation where construction noise is at a minimum, and hot water and electricity are not an "Odessa problem", really a very comfortable place to stay at reasonable rates.

My experience
On my first night of my stay the TV had no sound. It was not fixed until late afternoon on Sunday. On the day of my return again the TV sound went off. I have stayed at these apartments before and I was happy, however recent developments on the site have changed my mind. They have built a restaurant on one side of the square and it is open until 12:00 with loud music. In the bathroom the shower room went from hot to cold at a whim leaving you either in shock as the cold hit you or burning when the very hot water hit you. Very dangerous for either the old or the young. There was two thick duvets on the bed plus a thick under sheet perfect for the winter. It took two days before they gave me a double sheet as I had asked for on the first night. The internet went off regularly with the only solution was to use the two from the hotel. There was a power cut on my first day, but it was not fault of hotel.

Nice hotel and great location
I've stayed here both visits to Odessa. Very nice hotel with easy access to food, entertainment, and night life. They have a newly renovated courtyard to relax which is great for the afternoon. The staff has been very pleasant both visits and I will definitely stay again the next time I return to Odessa.

Odessa Apartment
Friendly multilingual staff. Secure location. Convenient for local attractions. Washing machine didn't work. Air conditioning didn't work. Opening the window for ventilation just lets in smoke from other guests smoking on the balcony, grease smell from the kitchen vent of the adjacent restaurant and construction noise (even on Saturday and Sunday) from the building being re-modeled next door. Also karaoke bar was blasting til 3 or 4 every morning with many noisy drunks. Would not stay here again.

Poor service and quality
Rented two rooms for three nights. No hot water for two days; staff was alerted, but they checked the wrong room and decided that the complaint was invalid; corrected issue eventually. In between, there was no water at all in the room. The excuse was "the city turned off the water", as though that was my problem. I only wanted one room/one night's refund as a remedy, but the hotel staff would not even give me that. In fact, they had the nerve to argue with me over whether I informed them of the hot water issue properly. When I reminded them that I asked them to fix it on the first day, they said that they went up to the room and saw noticed that the hot water worked. When I informed them that they probably should have checked the correct room, it was yet another ridiculous excuse. In room #2, the shower door would not close and water leaked all over the floor. Also, the modern multi-jet shower wasn't hooked up properly. This building is probably over 100 years old, which would be quaint if lazy people weren't maintaining it. Typical Eastern European hustlers.

It is the best location for everything. But....there is no elevator and the entrance to the hotel lots of trash cans from the whole neighborhood. The good things they are picked up daily. Front desk lady was nice, as well as the rest of the stuff, except one of the server that looks like someone made her to come to work.

Nice apartments with super location!
It was my first time in Odessa, I looked up this apartment and seemed a nice place to stay. The service started weeks before my stay; all the staff were very attentive, all my doubts and requests were answered promptly. Upon arrival everyone was very welcoming. The apartment was quite nice; it was a duplex with full kitchen, very ample with a good size bathroom with jacuzzi. It also has a sitting area, laundry and working space. In general the apartment was in very good, very clean condition. This seems to be an old building that is being restored; all the restored area seems brand new. It has a restaurant on the lobby with good quality meals and delicious cakes! The best feature may be the location; it's like 10 meters away from the main touristic street in Odessa, a couple of blocks away from the Opera House and the Potemkin stairs. There is a supermarket 20 meters away, plenty of really good restaurants and shopping areas all around. To go to the beach, I would recommend a taxi that are not expensive (be sure to fix a price before you get in!!). Good night life at a walking distance, but my favorite is Ibiza at Arcadia beach. The girls at the reception are super helpful and really pleasant! Thank you!

it does not even have basic wake up service.
When I arrive to the hotel, there was a night watch person. He just took me to the my room. I was a kind of surprised. Room did not look like in the picture I saw. I does not even have basic necessities. Bed was not comfortable. It did not have the basic necessities like a normal hotel would have. Daily cleaning was not done. They do not even put soap and shampoo. There was no computer in the hotel to check your email. Hotel staff does not show up till 8:00am. There is no way to get any help for any matters. It was way over priced hotel that I would find a lot better hotel than this one less than half price. Hotel staff seem to be nice. Breakfast was horrible. Two eggs, two slice of bread, two slice of bacon which I did not care, one yogurt and choice of coffee or tea. I had to go to grocery store to have my own breakfast. Bottom line is it embarrassing to advertise this hotel at Expedia site. Expedia was not even helpful as well. When I need to talk to someone for help, someone from India answered my phone and I could not understand his language plus anything I asked he said he did not know or could not help me. You really need to bring customer service to the USA otherwise you will be losing your customer.
