The apartment would have been fine except that there was construction beneath our room which woke us up too early. Also, across the street a homeless man sat on his perch every morning screaming at the world, starting at 7am. The homeless man is one thing, but management should have told us about the construction before we booked. When we complained about the noise, we were told that it would cost and additional 45e to move. The smart move for any business would have been to offer us a break or move us to another place at no additional cost. We would have never booked the apt if we knew of the construction or the homeless man. This was my first attempt at booking this way, and will probably be my last. We loved Madrid (and Spain), but this in no way spoiled our trip - just the first two nights. But, unfortunately, I cannot recommend this space.
