Do not stay at this hotel. This was not a 3.5 star experience. We booked 4 nights and quickly realized after check-in that the hotel was entirely occupied by hundreds of 15-year old girls for a school trip. The result was overwhelming—the pool was taken over by them and each night we had to endure girls screaming and slamming doors outside of our room until 3:00am. The hotel is old construction and the doors/windows don’t protect from any noise in the hallways nor outside on the street. Basically, we didn’t get any sleep for three days. We weren’t told in advance of the circumstances, nor did they seem overly concerned with our horrible experience. When we couldn’t take it anymore, and we finally told the front desk that we had to change hotels because of the noise, the front desk staff informed us that the “manager in Bogota” refused to issue us a refund for the last night’s stay (which we weren’t using). In addition to not being able sleep, there was a cockroach in our room, the WiFi sucked and the breakfast was basic at best. While the staff was fine and the location convenient, I would advise you to avoid this hotel, as it’s not worth the price and there are other/much better options; we moved next door to the brand new "Samawi" hotel, for the exact same nightly cost, and it was heads above Arena Blanca.
