The staff at the hotel desk were great. However, the staff at the Breakfast Buffet were awful. We had an experence where we asked for one cup of decaf coffee and 30 minutes later; and after flagging down to additional staff personnel we were told the machine was broken -- but, then we received a cup of coffee 5 minutes after that.
On another day, I arrived to a buffet that was out of scrambled eggs (the only cooked eggs offered other than hard boiled) - I immediately informed the staff and then wait another half hour for more eggs to arrive.
However, during that half hour I was told twice that the kitchen staff was making the eggs. However, there is a window into the kitchen and I could see that they did not start cooking the eggs for 20 minutes after I requested them.
To further emphasize the staff's lack of concern -- this was the week of WebSummit and while I waited for eggs - over 10 other people looked into the warmer for eggs and commented on the fact that there were none.
But, none of the request seemed to matter to the staff - they just talked amongst themselves while the customers sat and waited. By the time the eggs finally arrived half of the guests that asked for them had left the breakfast area.
