Péssima experiência
Experiência super negativa. Recepção foi ok. Chegamos à noite, dormimos e no dia seguinte ao voltar do cafe da manhã tinha uma barata no quarto na mesa embaixo da tv. Avisei a Recepção e dissrram que nao havia quartos disponíveis para troca, apenas 1 com 2 camas de solteiro e 1 com 1 cama de casal entao teriamos que separar a familia. Acabamos ficando no quarto que estavamos. A recepcionista disse que iria pedir pra fazerem uma faxina bem boa para limpar tudo mas nao foi feito e no 3o dia matei uma outra barata dessa vez no banheiro. Tirei foto mas nao consigo anexar. Disseram qhe iria fazer a dacina e quando sai no 5o rda a barata estava no mesmo lugar morta. O ar condicionado so ventava em um dos lados de uma das camas, o secador de cabelos nao funcionava e a recepção me emprestou um. Cafe da manhã sem muitas opções e o estacionamento que nao é no hotel, é terceirizado, chegou a demorar quase meia hora pra trazerem o carro.

Hotel decadente
Já nos hospedamos no Lancaster diversas vezes, de modo que é visível o processo de decadência do hotel. Os quartos estão cada vez mais sujos. Não apenas a limpeza habitual de um quarto (banheiro, chão etc.) está deixando a desejar, mas também a própria estrutura está ficando deteriorada. Paredes riscadas e portas com marcas de dedos são apenas alguns exemplos. Ao que parece, o hotel precisa de uma faxina pesada ou até mesmo uma reforma superficial. O café da manhã, que anos atrás era fantastico, estava ralo, sem contar a reposição demorada dos itens. Nós tivemos que limpar a mesa em que sentamos, pois não havia funcionários para tal. Tudo indica que se trata de uma má gestão do hotel, não de desleixo ou incompetência dos funcionários. A questão central, no fim das contas, é a seguinte: o custo-benefício do hotel, que já foi ótimo, já não compensa.

Já sabia que o hotel era antigo, mas esperava que estivesse em melhores condicoes. Um cheiro forte nos quartos, lençol menor do que a cama. Entretanto, o café da manhã é muito bom e o staff é muito receptivo e atencioso.
