Having had a bad experience in my last place, I was feeling a bit apprehensive about arriving at this one, however I didn't need to worry. I was made to feel very welcome. Check in was efficient and everything worked.
Safety first, it is simple to get to the hotel is to turn right when leaving the metro, walk to the main road and turn right. Do not follow your SatNav if it tells you to turn left and go down an alleyway next to the station as I don't think this is a safe route (lots of glass, rubbish etc)
I liked this hotel, especially the gluten free option at breakfast as this is the first time this has happened for me in Italy. I liked the atmosphere, everything worked and the staff were helpful. There is a supermarket about 5 mins walk away and the area feels safe. The hotel was very clean. I loved the balcony and used it when it was not too hot.
Downsides, I didn't take a wired connection for my devices, so couldn't use the internet and it is a fair way out of Rome. It is also on a busy road.
Transport is 1.5 Euros for 100 minutes, so no extra cost.
