This place was terrific. Super social area with lovely food and drink. Amazingly large room with separate shower, sink and toilet. Comfy beds. Fab. Real shame about the noise outside in the early hours.

Right next to a gate to Vondelpark — we loved being able to run every morning! Great vegan breakfast with hummus and vegan yogurt for protein; we also loved the seeded dark rye rolls and the herbal tea! Next to all the museums and a lot more quiet than Dam square. Courteous and diverse staff, all super helpful. The room was very clean and practical. We really appreciated the bamboo toilet paper and all the eco friendly features! Five stars! Thank you! :-)

This was the first hostel I’ve ever stayed in. I ended up having a room to myself so it was nice to ease into the experience. Having a bathroom in the room was great and the shower not being one of those times things was perfect. The only thing I’d not like had I been sharing the room is the bunks don’t have curtains for privacy. There was a fan in the room which was great for warmer days. The only complaint I had for my stay was the elevator not working. I was on the third floor and after a long day of walking, it was torture. lol As for the location, when you’re not overly familiar with the area and just follow directions, you end up having to drag luggage through Vondelpark and hunt through the garden to find the place. I’d suggest having instructions on the site to access the hostel through the side street. Overall the stay was great. The staff were nice and the food/coffee was good. I’d stay again!

A beautiful area and building, Stayokay Vondelpark Hostel was already a sight to admire. We entered to helpful and cheerful staff, who helped us find our room which was close by and accessible (our friend has knee issues so the lift was so convenient!) the room held all six of us perfectly! We had enough space without feeling cramped. We enjoyed the comfort of the bunk beds, the easy access plugs and the bathroom and shower facilities available inside the room. The hostel itself downstairs was beautiful, the bar area filled with plants and offering a clean and modern vibe to an old city. We enjoyed drinks and food in the bar/eatery area. The drinks were affordable and we felt relaxed sitting there. They even let us order takeout and allowed us to eat it in the eatery area! In a convenient area, right next to the park and tram/bus stops, Stayokay Vondelpark is a perfect place to stay either by yourself or like us, as a group.

Bien, et propre, rien à redire, mais beaucoup beaucoup trop chère pour ce que c'est. Mais l'hôtellerie en général est beaucoup trop chère à Amsterdam. Chambre ressemblant à un hôtel Ibis, donc correcte mais sans plus, pour le prix d'un 4* ailleurs. Même le nettoyage n'a pas été fait entre les 2 nuits. Déjeuner très moyen, évidemment en supplément.

L'hotel di per sé è ok, però ci sono stati alcuni aspetti che non mi sono piaciuti, come l'assenza di asciugamani, trovarsi il letto spoglio con le coperte e lenzuola piegate sopra quest'ultimo e poi doverlo fare per poter dormire per poi disfarlo al checkout
