We had prebooked this hotel as an overnight stay on our road trip in Europe, but because we miscalculated the amount of time it would take us from Disneyland to Dudelange that evening, we noticed that we would not be able to arrive before the reseption closed for the night. I then called the hotel, and was helped by a lovely lady who managed to take my payment from the card left in my Hotels.com app, and she then gave me a code for the front door and left our room key in an envelope just inside. So although we didn't arrive until midnight, we were allowed to use our booking. Very grateful for that. The hotel was modern, very nice and clean and had private parking for our convenience. But, and there is a hughe but, there was an intense, REALLY intense smell in the hotel. It reminded me of Mosquito repellant spray, and was particularly bad in our hotel room, and even if we kept the window open all night, the smell never left. It was so intense and strong, that it actually stung in my throat, eyes and nose. I have no idea what the reason for this was, and I had trouble sleeping because of it, and had trouble breathing. Both my nose and airways were clogged up in the morning, and I woke up with a terrible headache. I literally felt poisoned by the seriously intense smell. It felt like the room was full of chemicals. Not good at all. It was a great relief getting outsiden into fresh air in the morning.
