The breakfast was ok. However, it's the service that really lets it down. These staff need training in waitressing! Despite being guests with breakfast included, they continually left us waiting and offered us menu cards. We only had one option! They were all very sweet, but incredibly slow at taking our order, making our drinks and then delivering our food - and it was often not what we asked for! For example I always wanted no garlic on my mushrooms / tomatoes and they kept adding it anyway! One day I told the waitress we were in a hurry and would like breakfast quickly as a car was coming to take us out for the day and she said ok, but then continued to lay tables ready (even though we were the only guests!) We only once got the yoghurt and honey that was meant to be included in the breakfast, the rest of the time we constantly had to remind them.
The room cleaning was excellent and they cleaned every day. The towels were large and soft and smelled lovely.
Overall I would say all the staff need more customer service training. They are sweet and laid back but it was also my sisters 40th birthday which was why we came to Bali and I asked for several things on email before we arrived and none of them were suggested or remembered by the reception staff!
Overall we had a good stay, but the hotel is definitely only 3 star. The staff are friendly but ineffective and the area has terrible traffic and no safe place to walk.
