Basic, bed to be improved but manageable for a day
Great location, the check in process was smooth and easy. The room itself was basic and warm though the bed was a very small (I am 6"2 / 188cm) and I didnt fit well. Also, the bed was shacking every time I moved in bed. Overall basic and ok for the price and a night.

We loved staying here as it was perfectly located in the middle of everything. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and the room was in good shape. However, the shared bathrooms were quite small and uncomfortable to use. If you spend a lot of time in there, would be best to go for the private bathroom option. Thank you for our stay :)

The only positive aspect is the location: close to gran via ( a few hundred metres from metro Callao). The hostal is located on the 2nd floor with lift of a building. The room is extremely small, so are the beds. It was not clean. For the bathroom you have to wait a really long time to get hot water and then you burn yourself. The shower is a really small bathtub. The staff only speaks Spanish, not very friendly. Walls really thin, so you can hear everything from people talking to water running. We had to ask for toilet paper and the staff person asked for our room number.

Godt ophold for familiens weekend i Madrid
Hotellet ligger meget centralt i Madrid, og var et godt udgangspunkt for at se byen. Den centrale beliggenhed er en kæmpe fordel, og alene derfor ville jeg gerne bo der igen - også selvom der er lidt støj fra gaden i weekenden. Hotellet ligger på anden sal i en ældre bygning. Det er lidt slidt, værelserne er små, og der er ret lydt, så man kan høre hvad der foregår på værelset ved siden af. Men alt på stedet fungerer godt og sengene var gode. Personalet er meget, meget venligt og hjælpsomt - og de holder et fint serviceniveau, også når det kniber med kommunikationen (de taler ikke meget engelsk). Der ligger en natklub i kælderen lige ved siden af hotellet, men det hørte vi ikke meget til. Der er mange små fine butikker, cafeer, restauranter og kiosker indenfor 100 meter, og det er et hyggeligt og trygt område. Hotellet tilbyder ikke morgenmad, men det kan man fint finde andre steder. Vi kan varmt anbefale café Constanza, der ligger 50 meter fra hotellet. Alt i alt et rigtig fint ophold til prisen. Det er ikke luksus, men fungerer godt, ikke mindst når man egentlig bare har brug for en seng og et bad.

Mala experiencia, en primer lugar en las especificaciones nunca ponen que el baño es compartido con varias habitaciones. Huele mal, como a cigarro, hay mucho ruido y no se puede descansar. Las ropa de cama se ve vieja y no da buen aspecto.
