This property is situated in a town that feels like you're coming out of a old western movie. It was really cool and being surrounded by mountains was beautiful.

Pros- Staff were very friendly. The room was small but was very clean and updated. The bed was very comfy. The bathroom was also updated with a stand up shower but no tub. Shampoo/conditioner/shower gel and lotion were provided which is great if you forget to bring your own. There is also a microwave and decent sized mini fridge in the room along with a Nespresso coffee machine. TV had numerous satellite channels to watch so that was much appreciated. The location of the hotel is in the heart of the downtown area so it's a quick walk to coffee shops and other shopping stores.
Cons- The walls were thin so you could hear everything in the hallway which made it difficult to get a sound sleep. There is a restaurant and a ahuttle to the airport but no other amenities such as a workout area etc.
All in all a great little boutique hotel in beautiful downtown Whitehorse.

Spent one night on our travels and were very pleased with the Downtown Hotel. Loved the enclosed space, made it easy to get to our 2nd floor room out of the elements. The “gathering space” was a nice touch. Quiet, clean, super comfy beds and perfect TV reception. Highly recommend!

Good condition for an old heritage building.
It would have been nice if the bar restaurant had better hours.

The room was clean and updated, but the facility (hallways, lobby, etc) was very dirty. Not just a charming old feel, but especially dirty and a bit smelly.

This is a nice hotel in a great location. The staff is wonderful, very helpful. The rooms are a little overcrowded because there are two queen beds in each room and little room to get around. Parking is OK. It is mostly in a lot across the street.

It was a bit louder at night but most likely because of people who attend the late concert.
