Wonderful surprise
This hotel is in a beautiful remote location in the Douro Valley. It is a spa style hotel. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. Staff on desk ere very helpful. We like the dining room food better than the bar menu (just our choice).

Very beautiful although somewhat stark resort and VERY remote. For me the best part was the view and the pool area. Staff did not advise us of all dining options. This hotel is amazing ! Has beautiful views , is incredibly confortable , clean , staff very friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, food was very good and staff friendly , there was a delay serving food and staff were very apologetic Breakfast is very good best bread I ever had in a hotel!
