Great value for money in cosy hotel
Certainly not luxury but as nice cosy hotel, good location and good value. Friendly staff. Probably would avoid pre booking breakfast and get it outside the hotel. Would happily stay again and recommend

Regret for choosing it & will not recommendate it.
Bad experience, room not in good condition, dim lighting at corridor at night and staff not helpful and not friendly enough when discussing on room problem, not willing to change room when the room have problem. Free 2 ways transport shall be given but hotel want to impose fees until we reason with them.

Going downhill quickly.
This was my second stay. I had to ask to have the air conditioner cleaned, it only works if set at 16 degrees. I had to ask to have the cable connection to the T.V. fixed. I had to ask to have the kettle changed in the room, the hair dryer worked on and off. Everything in the room is old. The desk drawer would not open. I had no water in my room one night and was told I could use another room for a shower for the 2 of us. I went to the other room there was a little water, I soaped up and then had to wait 20 minutes for more water to come out of the shower head. I spoke to the manager and told him I was leaving the following day, having paid for that day and that I expected a refund for the night of no water and the following day that was paid for. He replied "So you are checking out tomorrow." I will post on another site where I have over 10,000 readers and in books that I have published about this hotel. The street is under construction and it is the dirtiest street and hotel in Siem Reap.

Nice hotel close to market and restaurants
Good location, clean room, swimming pool nice, but didn't get much sun and it was little cool. Rooms, hallways and breakfast area poor lighting. Overall good place at a reasonable price.

3 nights at Siem Reap
We had 3 nights at Rithy Rine. Hotel is a budget hotel on the quiet side of town/river, a pleasent 10/15 min walk to all night life in 'pub street'. Hotel frontage is European in style, clean and inviting, with doorman greeting your arrival. Foyer comfortable and front desk staff eager to assist. Deacor is deep coloured tiled flooring and chunky wood staircase and features. Rooms clean and accommadating. Finishing a little dated and requiring tlc. Outlook from balcony to pool area lovely with limited surrounding suburb views. Unfortunately our bed was extremely firm at first though sleep at the end of a long day possible. Breakfast (included in price) simple buffet style offering western and Asian foods, nice and filling. Overall, for price, pleasant stay with all you need/want in a hotel. 3/5.

Nice spacious rooms and good price. Super friendly staff. The pool was the highlight and amazing after a long day walking around temples etc... They dont have cocktail service yet...it looks like a swim up bar in the photos. A little walk away or Tuktuk ride from Pub S & markets so dont stay if looking for party action or to meet people. The food in the restaurant wasn't great and was the most expensive in Siem Riep ($12USD for a small pizza) so I would recommend going out for dinners.

Great hotel for the money
The hotel was beautiful, and the staff was extremely friendly and did everything they could to accommodate us. The tuk tuk driver, Robin, is probably the best in the city. He is reliable and doesn't try to scam us, in fact, he would give us helpful suggestions about where to go and how to not to get taken advantage of by tour groups and shop keepers. We really appreciate Robin, and the rest of the staff. The bed was a little hard, but the room was charming. Pub street is a short tuk yuk ride away, which is nice because you have the option of going out but don't have to deal with the noise when you want to sleep.

Great Swimming Pool, Delicious Food
Check in was fast and efficient, we arrived early morning and they had our deluxe balcony room ready for us. The room overlooked the lovely clean swimming pool. Breakfast is now made to order (used to be buffet), and was fresh and delicious, set menu either Western or Asian, the western was eggs, fried scrambled or omelette, bacon or sausage, toast, jam, tea or coffee and juice. The manager advised that they are doing renovations to the top floor sunbathing area and they were nearly finished building a bar next to the pool which will just make the pool area even better. Location is walking distance to Pub Street, on a quiet street, there is a mini mart 100m away, a spa across the road and Gloria Jeans Coffee near the mini mart but if you don't feel like heading into town, I highly recommend the restaurant, the food was excellent, the burger was the best we have had in Asia, as were the deep fried spring rolls. The staff were lovely, I think some are still learning English and a little shy at communicating, but overall very helpful. Rithy Rine represented good value for money. Tip: our pronounciation confused some tuk tuk drivers, they told me it is "Ritty Rin".

Clean and Quiet in Siem Reap
Hotel was on a quiet side street that was a short and easy walk to downtown. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was fairly bare bones but clean. Hotel could have done better with maps, tourist info, etc. at front but that's a minor quibble.

Clean room, worth to pay
Staff were friendly and good communication in English. Room is clean, huge but a lot of mosquitoes. Be prepared with repellent patch or you can ask at the counter. If you need a warm water you need to walk inside the restaurant, there is no electric kettle in the room.

Great location, old room, mildew, OK service
Good location near center of Siem Reap, close to Old Market, but very 'budget.' Rooms smell of mildew and don't look nearly as nice as the photos. We booked for two nights but only stayed for one after upgrading our room type (a very good choice as the balcony rooms are higher quality, though still not great). The pool is nice, breakfast is OK, service is OK. For the price, you can do better elsewhere.

Average, at best.
Everything about this hotel is "average" (except, perhaps, the breakfast which just plain awful). The staff won't go out of their way for you, but they're generally helpful if you approach them. The location is okay. You can walk about 15 minutes or take a $1 tuk-tuk to Pub Street. The conditions of the room were acceptable, but certainly nothing special. The bed was solid as a rock, and the room had a bit of a moldy smell. But generally it was well-kept. Note: You will NOT get your room cleaned unless you leave the note on the doorknob for the staff to do so. The shaded pool is probably the hotel's best feature. In short, the hotel is adequate, but there are so many options in Siem Reap, and there are much better values than Rithy Rine Angkor Hotel.

Convenient, but definitely three star.
The hotel staff were very diligent in providing good service. Socheat, the dining manager was particularly notable for his efforts, both in entertaining the kids with origami and his attentiveness in the restaurant. The hotel is located across the river from the old market in a good location. Tuk-Tuk to downtown was $2. The supplied breakfast was always cold by the time we got to it but was adequate. The pool was a welcome relief after a day at the temples.
