Cheap and cheerful, with clean rooms, simple but reasonably comfortable beds, and decent bathrooms. There is a small kitchen area for preparing food etc., and mini-fridges and sinks in the bedrooms. (No kettles in the bedrooms, but there are tea and coffee making facilities in the kitchen.) There is a pleasant outdoor area for meeting other guests, hanging out, and chatting - it's a bit chilly in the winter, but was still attracting a friendly crowd when I visited. If you're looking for somewhere basic to rest your head at a very reasonable rate by Sydney standards, the Cambridge Lodge is worth checking out!
