Great Location

This was the perfect location for a quick visit to Edinburgh. Very easy access to the Waverly train station + perfect location to head up to the high street. (The next-door Advocate's Close stair way brings you directly to St. Giles Cathedral on the Royal Mile.) I'd happily book here again!

Overall a great location. Cumbersome to maneuver through the twists and turns and stairs with elderly parents to get to the elevator or reception restrooms. Breakfast was OK. Nice reception & bar area to hang out, have a drink or read. But the best part of this hotel is its location.

The hotel is very handy for train travellers being about 300 yards from Waverly entrance at the end of Waverly bridge. It's clean and the staff are friendly enough but if you can avoid it don't take room 401. Three windows all looking at a wall 5 feet away.
