The hotel is situated in the middle of wineries and rolling hills, it was not that easy to find, but we managed and the views and tranquility were definitely worth it. The service was spotless and we were greeted by a complimentary bottle of their wine, which was delicious and it was the perfect way of starting the holiday by sipping a glass of wine in front of the villa with views of the wine region. The rooms (and the entire hotel actually) were well kept and clean. Breakfast was good, and dinner was even better. Prices are fair, although not on the cheap side, but the quality is definitely worth it. The rooms were spacious (we had a separate living room) and the bathroom was clean and came with rain shower. What impressed us most about the place, was that they seem to have struck the perfect balance between modern room and ancient villa. What it means is that you get a historic place with romantic rooms (or houses almost) that are spotless, have a modern bathroom (but for example lack air conditioning, which was not a problem for us, but in hot summer might make nights a bit hot; also, the wifi was good but a bit spotty at times). The pool was nice, perfect for cooling down in the late afternoon. In general, this is a place to relax and take some nice trips to the Chianti region, which is picturesque and beautiful. But dont think you can explore all of Tuscany from here, even to Siena it is quite a drive. We will definitely recommend this place to friends
