My daughter and myself, had a lovely stay at this hotel.
The staff, food and atmosphere were amazing.
We felt comfortable and cared for.
The reception staff were particularly attentive, friendly and accommodating.
However, the main reason for choosing this particular hotel, was the fact it advertised, as having a ‘SPA’… which we were absolutely looking forward to, as I suffer from neck and back strain. I had bought a new costume, and my daughter, a bikini, in anticipation.
I also suffer from neck & shoulder pain.
After the uncomfortable ‘plane sitting’, we were so looking forward to taking a comfortable rest in a sauna etc.
We arrived… it was out of order. The person in that area apologised, but could not give a specific day as to when it would be fixed… But was offered a few options of massage, which was more unwanted expense for us.
We went back each morning of our stay, but no luck…
If it wasn’t for the whole hotel atmosphere and great staff, we would have stayed furious, although we were still very disappointed.
We should have been warned beforehand and offered some kind of compensation, but this was amis…
I would have given 5 stars, but for this experience, I can only give 4 stars.
