I typically stay at this location while visiting Waynesboro, GA. However, my 1 night stay on business 7/26-7/27 was terrible. The Friday manager Keya was professional and accommodating even with replacing my soiled linen. However, the next day, Saturday 7/27 I asked for a 1 pm late check-out and received approval of that request from the front desk and housekeeping. However, a short while later I got a call saying I needed to check out at noon because staff would have left at 1 pm due to them not having a lot of rooms to clean. Then housekeeping arrived at my door around 11:52 am and stood outside, talking loudly, playing music and stating that management should not have allowed late check out. I checked out around 12:25 pm and told the front desk and the housekeeping manager, Ms. Dorothy, how disappointed and disrespected I was. I'm a paying customer, and the management should have honored what they told me: a 1 pm checkout. More importantly, customer service is key and it wasn't my problem nor should I have known that there were miscommunication issues between the front desk and housekeeping. I will be pushing this up to the General Manager (Matthew Gaines) and Corporate.
