We found the hotel was lovely and comfortable, but lacking with the level of service that we expected. We were on the 12th floor and had access to the executive lounge. The evening cocktails and snacks were quite nice but in the morning it was absolutely impossible to get a cup of coffee. Either the access was not open at 6:30 AM when it was supposed to be, or when it was, I found the coffee maker to be inoperable and sometimes not even plugged in and ready to dispense coffee.. I called the front desk to ask that additional coffee be brought up to our room so I could use our own coffee maker, but was told That we were only entitled to one complementary serving per stay. I really did not think this was good customer service at this level of hotel.
I found the staff to be pleasant, but at no time did I feel they went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Everything was quite slow, and our housekeeping service was very inconsistent. One day we would have excellent cleanup, only to find the next day a very different story. I would like to give a better rating to this hotel, but I cannot at this time.
The surrounding area is excellent with a Shopping Mall, a couple of blocks away and access to many restaurants and shops. The restaurant in the hotel was also quite good, and I would highly recommend that they obtain English menus for the American customers.
