Very small, and outdated
Rooms are very, very small. It’s typical in Amsterdam, but there is no sound proofing, you will hear and be woken up by loud stomping up and down stairs and in the floors above you. No refrigerators in rooms. Rooms are old and outdated for the price, it felt like a college dorm room and not a nice hotel. Carpet is old, smells, and stained. Curtains are old and musty. Walls are all stained. Bathroom is so small it’s hard to turn around in it. This hotel got a lot of good reviews, which is why I chose it, but I thought this was one of the worst rooms I’ve ever gotten in a hotel. The staff was really nice though and the location is good near the tram and in a hip neighborhood.

The property is located by a canal and our room had a nice view of it and the surrounding area. The entire hotel was well decorated, especially the lobby and the room. Bathroom was clean as well. The room I had was to close to the reception and was quite noisy from staff and guests. The guests going by my room also dusturbed me. My windows opened to a side road which was very noisy if kept open.
