A Rustic Retreat with Old-World Charm
The front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful. The lobby is warm and welcoming with old-world charm. The rooms have a rustic feel with natural wood doors and floors. You feel like you've stepped back in time. Cassell's serves great food at a reasonable price. The staff were also very welcoming and attentive. The Normandie Club is just a few doors down and serves an excellent Old Fashioned at a very reasonable price during Social Hour (6-8 pm). My only real complaint was the noise. The hotel is located at a busy intersection, which was very active throughout the night. I will request an inside room next time.
