We were so warmly greeted upon our arrival. The inn is a darling quirky place with so much character. We were able to park free, in the back lot, because it’s November which was a lovely bonus! It was so easy to order delivery to our room (a luxury we’ve missed since moving to a small town) and I loved the atmosphere of this place.

Cozy and friendly inn downtown Halifax
My son and I had an amazing stay. We were there only one night, after a long drive and we really enjoyed the central location near the Citadel. Parking was free and easy and we walked to a super nice French restaurant nearby. The room was clean and comfortable, with real mugs for coffee. Since we had to leave super early the next morning, the host brought us muffins, yogourts, eggs and juice so we could have an early breakfast when we wake up. I really recommend this place!

We appreciated how close it was to the IWK for our early morning appointment. When the front desk person learned that we were checking out before breakfast, she offered us breakfast to go…muffins and yogurt and juice. We really appreciated that kindness. We would stay there again.

Great place, included a wonderful breakfast. Stairwells were a little confusing, that was just the old house. Laundry available after hours. Nice bright loom with lots of space. Great Internet throughout the location. Walkable to the waterfront and tourist museums and tourist attractions. Very enjoyable stay.

I love heritage homes and this one is comfortably charming. I stayed here 5 years ago on my only other trip to Halifax and purposely picked it again.
