Updated for those who want the excellent location and cheaper stay in the center: the entrance is in between 2 restaurants and thus those who stay on the 2-3 floor might enjoy the flavor all day long via the restaurants downstairs. There’s the lift but until the 4th floor so when l stay in the rooftop where you need to mount up by stairs. There’s all what you need as Ibis budget hotel. But more space in a way. WIFI didn’t work and no instant response. No front desk has its advantages and disadvantages and thus , you couldn’t have all in a budget travel planning.

Accommodation with no reception service, exceptionally uncomfortable beds (folding sofas sold as full-fledged beds), smelly (Asian restaurant downstairs) and noisy building used partly as a dormitory. Entry codes stopped working and it was not possible to enter - nobody answered at the number provided (at 2pm) and never called back. Very slow wifi. Worst accommodation I have ever seen. The only advantage was that the place was quite clean (although already outdated) and the location is excellent just off Jakubske namesti.

Ubytování na šikovném místě v centru Brna. Prostorné pokoje, vybavení starší a méně pohodlné. Koupelna s nedostatkem světla na holení nebo líčení a minimem odkládacích prostor nebo věšáků. Ve dvoře hučí vzduchotechnika, která ruší spánek skoro celou noc. A od rána ucítíte, co za jídla připravují v blízké restauraci. Ideální pro lidi, co to chtějí mít blízko do restaurací a barů a kteří mají tvrdé spaní.

Very central, simple but decent accomodation
Absolutely central, just steps away from nam. Svobody in the heart of the city. The room was fairly simple, in the 5th floor (lift only goes to the 4th) which is attic so tilted roof meant a bit less space. Pretty clean, with all the basics needed for the stay. No reception functioning there currently (only works over the phone during day hours), so personal data for check in requested online - worked ok, and check in instructions are emailed and texted just before check in time. A bit confusing information about payment but eventually it was fine as I paid in advance. Overall, a good option to stay in the very centre of Brno.
