I will start by saying that the customer service is really top notch! Unfortunately, there were two significant errors in connection to how the resort is presented on Hotels.com and at least one other website that are worth noting right away: 1) THERE IS NO ONSITE SPA. Apparently, this was discontinued sometime during COVID, but this booking site still lists it in detail. I came expecting to have a restful retreat and was very disappointed to learn on arrival that I would have to leave the resort for a spa. However, I will say the spa they recommended was excellent and provided transportation for me. 2) For Hotels.com status members it says you get roundtrip transport from the airport, which was apparently some miscommunication between the companies. After much runaround, the hotel did offer me this service that was in my booking. Hopefully, this has now been removed or otherwise corrected.
The property is lovely and tucked away. A small beach area & a bit rocky, but still nice. I found that it was generally very quiet and relaxing ambience. All the staff are extremely kind and do their best to be helpful. Villa 1 where I stayed is right next to the main resort pool and initially severely lacked privacy - when I brought this to their attention, they erected a bamboo fence the same day, so I could better enjoy my patio and pool area!!
The food is good, included breakfast suitable. Room service is offered at no additional cost - a bonus!
