Great relaxing b&b
Laura and Carla are brilliant hosts and nothing was too much to ask during our stay, even being able to contact her outside of working hours. The room was very clean and maintained everyday with air conditioning. The breakfast was a range of foods and you could help yourself to tea and coffee whenever you wanted. The b&b is located about two mins away from the closest metro and has lots of local (cheaper) bars and restaurants. We would go back again.

A lovely B&B
The friendliest owner I've ever come across who made sure we knew where to get to everywhere we could possibly want to see including the best Tiramasu in Rome. The B&B was located close to a metro stop so great location. The room itself was lovely and very comfortable, a fantastic breakfast with lots of options of cornflakes, biscuits, cakes, yogurts etc

Very good little B&B located about a ten minute walk from the Basilica San Giovanni in Laterano, Room was very clean and never heard any noise from other guests or other people living in the apartment block where the B&B is!

Great base to explore Rome from
The owners were very friendly and very knowledgable about Rome and particularly the area around the B&B. We were given a very warm welcome. Everything was spotless and very well maintained, the breakfast was basic but good and plentiful. I would heartliy recomend this hotel as a good base to go and explore Rime from, bus stops and metro stations are just a couple of minutes walk away.

Quaint and cheap but watch out for the pitfalls
It is very important to recognise that this is a B&B on the 6th floor of an apartment block with no formal reception arrangements. The outside is not at all pre-possessing with just a small plaque on the wall of the apartment block and a call button for the various residents. It can be difficult to spot. If the owner is not upstairs, you may have trouble gaining entry. It is essential therefore, to have her telephone number easily available to summon her. She lives about 20 minutes away. We arrived fairly late (about 9.30pm) and initially could not gain entry and thought that we would have to find somewhere else to stay luckily one of the other guests was available to let us in. There are 3 rooms in the apartment only one of which (the one with a four-poster bed) has an en-suite shower room. The other two share a bathroom. Our room was clean and adequate. Breakfast is very basic with just cereal, toast and tea/coffee available although it can be taken on the small roof terrace in good weather. The location is convenient - close to the Metro (Re di Roma) and a five minute walk to the Basilica San Giovanni for tour buses or twenty minutes walk to the Colosseum. Do not take the unauthorised taxis from Termini Station - they are a rip-off. It is easy (and much cheaper) to take the Metro to Re di Roma (four stops). For central Rome, this is a cheap option for accommodation and an interesting stay but it has potential pitfalls you need to be aware of.

Perfect place in Rome!!!
This place was very clean, nice and convenient located. The room was large, the bathroom was clean and the breakfast pretty decent. The only negative for me was the shower, it was super small and water was either hot or cold. Laundry also didn't work and I don't think they will be fixing the washer anytime soon.

Fine stay at Via Cesena B and B
We had a great stay at Via Cesena. The proprietors are two fine ladies - very professional with an eye for detail. Location is very close to a metro station - with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. We had a shared bathroom but only for 2 rooms and it was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was decent and they have a small sit-out area which is nice esp at night.

Best B and B in Rome
This B and B is spotless. The owner was there to meet us and couldn't help us enough! I overlooked the fact that it was shared bathroom accommodation as I would only ever stay in rooms with private bathrooms, however, I needn't have worried as it was so clean and the few other guests were respectful of others. Also the entire place was cleaned on a daily basis. I will definitely be staying here again!

Amazing Laura and Clara!!
Laura and Clara were wonderful hosts, always making sure my husband and I were comfortable in their B&B. Their kitchen was well-stocked with goodies throughout the day. Not just that, they were delicious too -- chocolate muffins, all types of croissants, teas, coffee, biscuits, and bread. Our three-day stay in Rome was made even more memorable thanks to Via Cesena's hospitality and concern for their guests. Laura gave us amazing recommendations on the things we must do and the places we had to eat at! This tip was very useful to us. The room was comfortable and spotless, and the toilet/bathroom was sparkling clean. The terrace attached to the kitchen was cute, which also added up as the smoking zone of the place. Location was perfect, four stops from the main Termini station and a short walk away thereafter.

Excellent and Highly Recommended Stay in Rome!
This was our first stay at this BnB, and certainly not the last one! We must say that the sisters Laura and Clara really made our stay an amazingly hospital one! First off, clear directions were provided how to get to the BnB at Via Cesena. We were then offered an option to have our taxi pre-booked which the sisters readily arranged for us. Due to a flight delay, we were abit late on arrival but Laura made our day by patiently waiting for our arrival. When we had finally arrived, Laura took the trouble to take us through the facilities and recommend places to visit and offered tips to ease our getting around in Rome, despite the late hour. In terms of location. it is very accessible, there are two metros nearby, De Roma and San Giovanni which were a short walk away, which made getting to the various places of interest a real breeze. Laura saved us a bundle on metro expenses by advising us to get the one week ticket which really suited us given our week long stay. Thanks Laura! In terms of facilities, the BnB is very well equipped with free Wifi, coffee-maker and not forgetting the lovingly prepared daily breakfast. The room is well equipped and furnished and is cleaned and tidied daily. Thumbs Up!!! There is also a supermarket nearby if you are thinking of getting some munchies. Overall we would highly recommend this BnB. We will certainly be back! I highly recommend this place! it fully deserves its good ratings!
