Good quality budget hostel style hotel
Finn Rooms and Mango Hotel are a family run enterprise. The Finn Rooms side has a number of rooms set off very large public spaces with simple kitchenettes, an exercise area and two seating areas. It is still being developed, but will be idea when several couples/families want to be together. The rooms are comfortable, although ours did not have reading lamps by the bed, which was a shame. The showers and toilets are clean an spacious, but lack a tool for wiping up the water on the floor. So it all needs a bit more work, but the basics are there. Breakfast can be bought for a very reasonable price and parking, including a car heater is included in the cost of the room. The restaurant is very simple looking but the quality of the food is excellent. You can eat there or take it back to the public spaces in Finn Rooms if you are a larger group.

Budget hotel in Tampere
Finn Rooms is next to Mango Hotel and is run by the same people. Finn rooms are a series of rooms off a main lounge. Some kitchen facilities are available (microwave, kettle etc). And showers and bathrooms are shared ( there are plenty). I wouldn't especially recommend for single female travellers as, at least for my 2 night stay) all other residents were male. My bedroom door did lock. Some hotel workers more helpful than others. About 15-20 min walk to town
