Good, but can get cold in the winter
Stayed a night in a four person tipi. The receptionist was great, and guided us well through the property. Reduced a star because we were told that there would be a space heater in the tipi, but had to call and go get it from the reception when we didn’t find it inside. The water was very cold in the bathroom.

Tired traveler
Old but relatively clean. Was an old mobile home that was made into 2 separate rooms for 2 sets of guests. No shower curtain for the tub. Worked for us because we were dog tired and couldn’t drive any more that night. If I hadn’t booked online we would have tried to go farther.

We needed a place to crash after climbing Mt Whitney and everything in Lone Pine was booked for the film festival. So we ended up here. Wish we had just driven to Vegas. On the third attempt at giving us the correct key we finally got into our room. The beds were comfortable but that sadly is the only redeeming quality. I would not stay here again. Ever.

While the town is extremely small with not alot except a gas station, the room was stunning, very well equipped and there's a magnificent view of the Sierra Nevadas. Ideally placed for Death Valley, Sequoia National forest or, for those brave enough U2's Joshua Tree album cover photo (the tree died sadly but there is a plaque about 1/4 mile into the desert off CA 190). Staff were amazing, milkshakes to die for.

This place is great for 1 night. We always stay here on the way to mammoth. The bathrooms were very run down this time, the toilets wouldn’t flush and the sink wouldn’t stop dripping. May have just been this one time. The Tipi itself is clean and cozy.

Old school vibe with all the modern amenities. Loved my view from the porch. Excellent asada burrito from the cafe. All of the staff was extremely cheerful, helpful and kind.
