Odd location, though actually convenient once you find it in equivalent of policed, gated community... Reserved "Executive Suite" with bathtub and Minibar - room had neither. Moved us before determining only one bathtub in hotel and that room was occupied. Moved back to original as new room was higher floor but no view.
Sent a "Minibar" consisting of 1 each: coke, orange soda; and 2 each: mini candies of four assorted flavors (all with nuts) and two fruit and nut bars (my husband is allergic to nuts).
We were there for four nights and had to have the hotel mechanic (?) there every day except the morning we left because the toilet wouldn't flush properly (the first time we called we were told he would be there "in 5-10 minutes" over a space of FIVE HOURS!! Fortunately neither of us was ill...
Free breakfast was included, which we rarely take advantage of, but one morning my husband did go down for coffee and to bring a plate back to the room. Not only did they try to charge him for the coffee, they tried to charge him for ROOM SERVICE for the plate HE WAS CARRYING!!
If there was any high point, it was definitely the service of Elsa, the Housekeeper assigned to our room (209) during our stay. She was exceptional and went out of her way to be certain we had everything we wanted or needed during our visit.
Ricardo and (I fear I've forgotten the name of the young lady who was the co-manager at the front desk) both tried to set things right but to little avail.
