We loved our stay at Serenity Lodges in Dominica. The surroundings were beautiful, the room was clean and comfortable and we loved the way it was set up. We would definitely stay there again if we come back to Dominica.

We loved our stay at Serenity Lodge! We chose it as our plane arrived late in the day at the airport and after a long day of travel, we didn’t want to drive far. It was the perfect place to stay. Not only for the location close to the Douglas- Charles Airport, but, more importantly, for the opportunity to meet Lester and Carina. A wonderful couple who warmly welcomed us, made a delicious dinner and made us feel at home! Their place is spotless, comfortable, and quiet! We loved it and will return.

I absolutely recommend anyone visiting Dominica to stay here. I had an amazing stay thanks to the staff and the beautiful nature all around. Very comfortable and relaxing. I travel a lot and always stay in hotel, but this is a place of serenity. Highly recommend to stay here for a different experience from your typical hotel. You really get to take in the island and all its beauty.

Hidden Gem
It was a very serene lodge. We only got to stay one night but the room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We slept with the screened windows open and could hear the rain all night. It was such a good night’s sleep. The hosts were wonderful and we had a Continental Breakfast of fruit, avocado and toast and an excellent chicken and rice dinner with avocado and vegetables. I would like to return for a week or more.

Beautiful, stress-free stay
This place is less like a lodge and more like being hosted by a wonderful local family that shares their home and their culture. There are beautiful views every morning at breakfast and Carina will accommodate any dietary restrictions (I am vegan and gluten free). Having the tours coordinated in-house made the second half of my trip stress-free not having to navigate the bus system or pay excessive fees for taxis.

We had a great stay at Serenity Lodge. The airport transfer by Serenity Lodge after arriving late in the evening was much appreciated. They arranged to have a dinner ready for us once we arrived and before we went to bed . The food was amazing and exceeded any expectations we had! We woke up to see beautiful mountain views that we hadn't seen in the night when we got in. It looked like there was a hammock outside of each room, as well as a kitchenette available to each room for use for a small payment if needed. We'll absolutely stay there again!

The property is only 10 minutes from the airport and there is a shuttle service if you ask in advance. We liked the peace and quiet with views of the mountains. The garden was lovely with various fruit trees and beautiful flowers. Breakfasts and dinners were healthy and delicious. We took a bus from Concorde to Roseau every day and because my husband's leg was painful, Lester would take us to the nearest bus stop to catch the bus and he would pick us up from the main road where the bus would drop us in the evening. We appreciated that very much.

Peaceful getaway
Our stay at Serenity Lodges was nothing short of “Formidable”. The location is perfect. A short distance from the airport. Near the main road for a bus ride to Roseau. Minutes from a water fall and river. The site is beautifully maintained with fruit trees throughout and a 360 Majestic view of surrounding mountains. Our hosts were accommodating, flexible and helpful beyond measure to us first timers in Dominica. They are good cooks too. The homemade pizza was finger licking good. Our Lime Squash 2 room was spacious and clean. We would recommend to anyone celebrating an anniversary or looking for a getaway with nature in Dominica.
