Once upon a time... when first opened... this was probably a really nice hotel. The rooms are not clean. Bathroom counter surfaces were not wiped down. Bathroom floor was not cleaned... traces of hair, and thread/ particles. Carpet looked dirty, and as though they did not do a very good job or vacuuming... debris under the bed, on main walked areas, and along walls.
The staff spoke VERY LITTLE English. They were friendly, and tried to be of help. The dining room staff was the best part of the experience, as they were friendly, and tried to speak English.
Upon checking in I had to let them charge my credit card (they assured me that upon check out I would receive a credit back in 2-3 days) for the amount of about $100 US for incidentals. It has been about a week, and I haven't received credit.
Overall, it was/ is a DISAPPOINTING experience. My expectations were heightened by the comments, and I spent the extra $25 to stay here instead of another hotel that had not received reviews stating that their staff were conversant in English, and not as high a rating for their restaurant's food.
Will stay somewhere else next time, and definitely would not recommend this hotel.
