Very nice hotel with interesting history, aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. Also the pool area was excellent, very clean and large with hot tub. Fun looking bar area, but I was travelling with children so did not go in.
Only complains are the Front desk check in staff was not informative at all, or very friendly. I had no idea where anything was and they did not explain any amenities or where to park, where room was, etc, basically just paid and said have a nice stay. Worst was no complimentary coffee- had to pay $2 for a Keurig pod in the lobby in the morning. There is a coffee maker in the room but I didn’t want to wake my family.
Breakfast buffet was good and felt it was worth the money, very big selection and good quality.
Housekeeping staff very good.
Surrounding area a little run down but overall plenty of nice area with a short drive.
I would stay here again but the coffee situation needs improvement.
