Day 1) Some minibar drinks were already opened, and although asking, new ones never arrived. Then later that night heavy rain flooded the room to about 2cm of water, luckily not reaching our bags. In the morning we were greeted by a large (yet cute) mouse.
Day2) after touring the temples we wanted to make use of the jacuzzi bath, only to find the hot water ran out after filling it only about 5cm. Thinking we could wait a few minutes for the hot water to return, we then noticed that the plug wasn't good enough and water was leaking straight out of the tub. We called maintenance who couldn't fix the issue and they suggested we use the other suite rooms jacuzzi, but that had the same problem. We weren't best pleased with this option and opted for a simple shower, which was also almost unusable as it had two temperatures scolding hot or cold. Again the other room didn't really solve this issue.
Then the toilet broke.
We waited by the pool (which has cloudy water) for three hours as maintenance worked in the room. Eventually we went up to check to find the room flooded again and maintainence gone. We phoned reception to ask if it was fixed, it wasn't, and we had to ask them to come back to clean the room. We were told we could use the toilet in another room, or change to a smaller room that smelled of damp.
Had to negotiate a discount. Went to another hotel for $40 which had a special, that had wonderful facilities and service, and came with an excellent massage for two.
