The hotel has fabulous views of the Mediterranean Sea, the deck chairs are not that comfortable, but the area is small and the weather is harsh, so I guess those chairs are the best for the environment, aluminum with mesh stretched over the seat and back.
The beds we we fine, the mosquitos were not. In order to get some air circulating a window needs to be open which lets in mosquitos even in October. No ceiling fan or any other way to get airflow.
The cost is reasonable. In the states this kind of a place would go for hundreds a night, so it really was a good deal.
The owners are nice, accommodating and speak several languages, which is really helpful.
You can get breakfast, it is $9€ for 2 people, just basic, coffee was good tho.
They offer dinner each night with food from their garden which was pretty good. 13€ each.
The hiking in the area was fantastic, hike one way, take bus back if you want, or hike back.
Overall was fun, I would stay at this hotel again, mostly for the view and location, Banyalbofor is very small, this is in the center.
1661 restaurant in center of town has great tapas.
