I came here with my two teenagers and it was a wonderful way to unplug from technology and connect with each other. The staff are wonderful and friendly. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. It was a spectacular view from the room balcony.

Perfect little gem in the Black Forest!
So we were lucky enough to find this gem over in the Black Forest this last weekend with our family and it was AMAZING! Highly recommend staying here if you're ever headed that way! Fantastic service, great breakfast (had own table all set up for us every day with a high chair!) Both rooms had large patios that looked out on the hills! Couldn't have asked for a better place! ❤️ Thank you!!!

A wonderful gem in Blackforest
It is a very lovely hotel located along B294 and the staff are very friendly. Breakfast was great. I love the indoor pool and a working sauna. Something to be aware the hotel has many stairs to reach one room to another. Might not be suitable for disabled or family with strollers. I like the tranquility in this hotel. There is no safe in the room.

Wellness Pension Am Rain Review
Honestly it was such a great stay that I have to give it a 5 out of 5 star rating. The owner of this B&B waits for you until you arrive, so that she can welcome you to the hotel. She is very friendly and shows you the room, the breakfast, the pool area, and the small kitchen. A plus about this stay was the small kitchen they leave open with a microwave, refrigerator, tea, coffee, some fruits, and even cake if you should get the munchies. It is situated in a quiet neighborhood but a short drive to grocery stores, pharmacy, and restaurants. Trails for walkers start right behind the house and have beautiful scenic views of the towns below. In all, the room was very clean and the service was always given with a smile. I am definitely returning next year when I visit Germany.

Great location in the Schwarzwald
We had a wonderful time at the Pension. It is situated in a quiet village in the Schwartzwald, with nice hiking trails right behind the hotel. Easy to get to by car. One of the best things we didn't expect, but the hotel offered, was the free Konus card, which allows for free train travel on the regional S-Bahn. So you can go to Freiburg without having to take the car and having to worry about parking. The room was comfortable, the pool clean, and the breakfast was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Definitely a place we will consider visiting again.

Great hotel for exploring black forest
Great hotel run by family. We arrived late, no one was in the front disk, but came immediately as we phoned. Were very helpful and welcoming. Hotel has a very nice atmosphere. Great for a base for exploring black forest. Located in a small town, that had pluses and minuses. Breakfast was very good. Only down side of hotel was that WiFi was weak in our room, so we needed to go closer to the reception area to get internet.
