I stayed 5 nights, my husband 3. Staff are incredibly helpful: friendly /assisted my requests (making a reservation in town /bringing milk to my room)
Foodwise: breakfast buffet is average–cornflakes/coco-pops, chopped fruits, bread/pastries, eggs to order. Asian selection too. We had lunch also, which was good. Hubby said his beef loc lak was better than the same dish at the Chantry (where the food was awful-avoid)
Location-wise: well positioned 15 mins from airport in a tuk-tuk. The road down to it is very bumpy: not great for the elderly / infirm. 10mins to the night market ($3 tuk-tuk).
Cleanliness and comfort: breakfast serving dishes are uncovered, flies on the food. However eggs are made to order and I asked for fresh fruit to be prepared for me, which the staff were happy to oblige. Housekeeping came each day, though I don't think they changed the sheets, just made the bed and tidied. For a short trip that is probably fair, although there was a food stain on the quilt and it wasn't changed. Cushions could do with a wash. Bathroom light was very dim and the sink plug was tricky. However, I am sure if id mentioned them, the staff would have done something
I had friends staying at the much more expensive Anatara, where we joined them for a drink. Décor and ambience was definitely better at the Anatara. Service and food at Kuprey is superior
It was great accommodation /excellent value for money. Would stay again- probably the best marker I can give
