Close to a beach with good snorkelling, including BioRock structures growing coral, lots of fish, and a variety of coral areas as you drift around with the light currents. Each day, and part of the day, the currents were different meaning we saw different parts of the bay each time we went out with minimal effort.
Swimming pool was good, and there were lots of restaurants in the area if we wanted variety, though the hotel's restaurant was just as good as the surrounding places, so we had many of our meals there. They were able to cater to my allergies too, which was a relief.
The cottages were spaced apart from each other in a very well tended courtyard with lots of food trees - which were used in the restaurant's food. The rooms were very well presented on arrival & cleaned every day. The bathroom was outdoors, and since there were very few bugs at any time of day, this was a delight. There were geckos that kept the place free of insects - small ones & large ones that we didn't see but could hear calling in the evening.
The staff were very attentive to every detail. There was a hose at the complex's entrance for washing feet & gear after snorkelling. And the neighbouring business' dive shop owner had a child who was allowed to play in the pool whenever he wanted a swim, which was great for our 10 year old to have another kid to play with during the day.
