We did a two week stay in Switzerland and our 3 days at the Rex were are absolute favorite! The staff was so incredibly kind and helpful, they gave us wonderful tips and made our stay that much better. The hotel was beautiful with great views and packed full of amenities. When we come back we will definitely be staying here. The food and bakery are definitely a must try as well

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Bakery on the ground floor with delicious baked goods and coffee. We indulged multiple times a day. Our room had the most magical view of Matterhorn. The free spa was exquisite, with two saunas, hot tub, steam room, experience shower, and pool. We used it daily as well. The location is perfect in Zermatt, close to the main areas of shopping and restaurants, but far enough away for it to be quiet. The rex will hold a dear place in our hearts. We will be back.

OMG I loved this hotel, from the moment I stepped into the garden and into the hotel. The staff was amazing, the room (OMG loved it) and they offered me a free upgrade. Shows that when they can make a guest super happy they do. I LOVED IT. Rooms are outstanding, I love the design. Quiet and cozy. Beds and pillows lovely. The breakfast the best I have had in Switzerland ever. The sourdough bread is to die for. Buy some with you. There were so many things to choose from that I could not taste them all so will need to go back. Pancakes were to amazing. Not healthy but who cares... I love them. And the staff everywhere from check in, restaurant, driver, bar. You know what service is. Excellent. Best ever in Switzerland and even in the world one of the top notch treatments. I will be back for sure. Dont miss out on this place.
