Great location and beautiful, wooded property on oceanfront. But for us it was a mixed bag. Our first room (which tells you something) was beautifully decorated, and had a large deck with ocean views. But it was small; no room for a chair or to open up more than one suitcase. It was difficult to put on my shoes sitting on the overly tall, yet comfortable, bed. And the closet had only one hanger - probably just an oversight. We changed rooms because it was above the restaurant. It had a VERY strong pizza oven odor; so strong that it was difficult to be in the room and made my eyes water. And we could hear the drone of the kitchen exhaust. So the next day we moved to a different room in another building. There was no pizza odor, but the building was older. The room was bigger and had chairs, but it needed updating. The bathroom was clean, but the shower curtain was a bit musty. And the shower was a small stall, maybe 30 inches square. It was not nearly as physically nice as the first room. So each had pluses and minuses. The property has individual cottages too, but we did not see those. On a positive note, there were activities available on the property, from a fire pit to board games. And the on property restaurant, Rhubarb, which is independently operated, was excellent. But it does not serve breakfast. You can bring your own breakfast food though, and they have coffeemakers, refrigerators, and microwaves available.
