Cozy and comfortable and conveniently located. Parking right in front and all of downtown Carmel is nearby. What's not to like? Oh, the bathtub was kinda small, OK for a shower, but not appealing for a bath, but...that's minor.

Super cute and cozy Inn for Carmel. My boyfriend and I stayed for a weekend trip and location was key for us. So many good restaurants and shops one block away and to top it all off was pebble beach that was about a 10 minute walk. We will be back!

Great dog-friendly cottage in a fantastic location
We stayed in Dolores Cottage #1 with our two college-aged kids and dog. Cottage was very clean and comfortable and the location can't be beat -- walking distance to the beach and tons of restaurants, shops, art galleries in town and a short drive to Monterey. The cottage has a full kitchen with cups, plates, bowls, etc. but other than some pots and pans, the kitchen isn't equipped with very much cookware (e.g., no cookie sheet, mixing bowls, measuring cups etc.) so if you're planning to cook, pack approriately. Only negative was the cabin didn't seem to be set up for recycling. We just collected our recyclables and left them in a box next to the trash so hopefully they got recycled.

I recently stayed at this property and had a pleasant experience overall. The space was clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. One downside, however, was the limited parking space, which could be a bit tricky if you're visiting during peak hours. On the plus side, the location is fantastic — it’s conveniently close to shops and food options. The area is also very quiet, which is perfect for a relaxing stay. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, well-located spot with great service!
