Lovely location situated at the top of St Ives … a bit of a trek up the hill from the harbour. Hotel was lovely. Had a lovely room at the back of the hotel over looking tennis courts and gardens. Buffet breakfast very nice. All staff very friendly. Enjoyed the indoor pool .

Spend big or stay home
This is reviewing the cheapest rooms of the resort. Price was good for time of year and location is 5-10min walk to the harbour (if don’t mind hills) so not too far. The room was ok with the basics. Noise if what you’d expect for age of building but wasn’t the worst. Main issue I had was the bed. The mattress felt cheap and hard which made it an uncomfortable nights sleep. Is a shame as rest of the place looked good if with some signs of wear in places. If you can afford the suites or lodges they seem to of been fairly recent and where they spent the money on.

Our second stay here we love it The only thing this time was our bed in room 51 was a bit too hard for us everything else perfect but it wouldn’t stop us staying again we had a classic double so would probably go for one of the other rooms
