It feels like it's in the middle of nowhere - yet it's only a few minutes drive from Portland. The grounds are tidy and spacious and the cabin we stayed in was clean and very comfortable. There were ants but nothing we couldn't deal with. My only suggestion would be to put in some seating around the kid's jumping pillow for parents.

One of the most unhelpful experiences. There were possibilities to extend options by the reception staff to make our stay more comfortable but absolutely nothing was done. Wifi never worked and our room was nowhere near to be called a luxury accommodation. Nothing was done to make our stay better even when I myself suggested so many doable options, all that I met was ‘sorry it’s a long weekend, can’t do it’. Staff needs to be trained to say ‘no’ in a more empathising way and show some keenness to help guests make the most out of their stay. Travelling is not cheap these days and these little human interactions matter a lot.

We were disappointed with the villa we had it was not very clean, cutlery all dirty. The toilet kept getting blocked and there was a terrible odour throughout the place. The toilet roll holder kept falling off the wall. Curtains were filthy. I had a bug crawl into my ear while sleeping and not happy about a visit to hospital. Very dissatisfied for the amount of money paid to stay here. Also the villa I thought I had booked from wotif did not look like the one we got. Disappointing.
