I read the previous reviews and they all were super positive, so I wanted to give my honest review on some things other travelers might also make a note on.
Cons:
-The floorboards were surprisingly plaster-thin and we could hear and track every footstep of the above penthouse guests. We did not realize how noisy it was until the constant walking around from 12 am, that woke us up. This did not stop for an hour or so. During peak seasons, I could imagine how noisy this must be!
-The one power socket, wedged between the elavated floor lighing and the wall on each side of the bed. For guests using a international plug converter, this is a careful tetris. Also the fact there is zero light in the bedroom besides the side lamp..? The side lamp gets disconnected if you use a converter. So in the evening, if you wanted to read or anything, it was very unhealthy for the eyes.
-Only ambient and natural light focused. If you're visiting in the darker months, this place could feel slightly miserable because of how little light there is... Just a food for thought.
Pros:
-The bathtub was the biggest highlight. Spacious, deep enought to accomodate two people. Love the design of how the water filled up and drained. Excellent.
-Great bathroom space, albiet odd design but feels modern.
-Fantastic location, you can walk to most places from the hotel and feels very central.
-Decent value for money.
-Remote check-in and out. Feels very covid appropriate but also hassle free.
