Pros: The location was nice, very close to Drachenfelsbahn (the rack railway train used to access to Schloss Drachenburg and Drachenfels). The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was great.
Cons: The staff wasn't terribly friendly. The parking was inconvenient, I ended up having to park offsite in an unattended lot. The hotel charges for parking (which I expected), but the rate isn't published anywhere. If I remember correctly, it was 10 euro per night. Also, the hotel's garage only has a few spaces and only for compact cars, information that I couldn't find anywhere online beforehand. The decor in the lobby is odd and not really cohesive from room to room. There is an extra city tax that has to be paid on top of the room rate. It would have been nice if this tax was included in my Hotels.com charge.
I'd still recommend this hotel, but parking information should be clarified online for potential hotel guests.
