During our recent six-day stay at Calypso Cay, we experienced several issues that fell short of our expectations and the standards represented on your website. The two rooms we stayed in were significantly outdated compared to the photos shown online.
Additionally, I left behind a sentimental item in one of the rooms. I contacted the front desk, but unfortunately received little assistance. I also attempted to recover the item through your text service, with no response. In contrast, I’ve stayed at other resorts where staff were proactive and eager to help return lost items—something I was hoping to experience here as well. At this point, I can only assume the item may have been taken by housekeeping after our departure.
We also made a request via the text service for clean towels during our stay, but those were never delivered to our rooms.
On top of that, the clothes dryer in our unit was not working, and the water in both the bathrooms and kitchen had a strong, unpleasant sewer-like odor.
Unfortunately, given these multiple issues, I do not see myself or my family returning to Calypso Cay in the future.
