The room was dirty, room looks like it hasn't been swept or mopped in months..no pillows on the bed....the constant smell of dope was sad...elevator always tied up due to kids playing on it...rooms are not quite due to people living at the hotel...front desk lady was cool...this was definitely the worst and last stay at a WoodSpring...

I couldn’t believe Hotels.com would advertise for this place. It’s so dirty, the front lady was so getto she was not professional at all. Then you walk to the elevator there’s people gathering outside side there doors, they smell like they haven’t showered for days. Then we go to our floor as soon as the door opens you get a nasty smell, the carpet looks like it’s outside carpet how bad it looks and smell we get to our room The room was disgusting, the floors look like they have never been touched (clean), the bed was so hard it felt like you were sleeping on the floor. The towels were not white, they had a smell to them. In all we couldn’t leave because everything was packed. This will be the last time I ever use Hotels.com

Toilet was not working in Room 315. Too many people hanging around the entry of the hotel all day. The guest service is unavailable at 10PM - 8AM. The tv remote was not available and we were unable to watch the tv because there was no service, up or down buttons on the to change the station.

Very disappointed. My first room was clean beds weren't made, second room roaches in refrigerator, hair in the bed. Rooms and hallways smelled. Elevator made load noises, toilet wouldn't flush, i checked out after 9 am waiting for hotel staff to make a compliment no one was on premises to assist me. Very horrible

Sleep in your car 🆚 this place!!
We slept in my car in another location 🆚 staying at this place. Do NOT stay here. It has people sitting in the halls, the smell is AWFUL, people live at this place extended time and even receive their mail there. There were people in the parking lot hanging out and trash everywhere. I felt very uneasy from the time I drove up on the lot. I asked to see the room before checking in and the front desk clerk took me there. The room was small and beds looked like they were on metal stick and they probably wouldn’t have held me up. The first thing I saw in the bathroom was hair so I knew it wasn’t cleaned properly. The smell of this place was just awful, terrible, and stinky. Sleeping in our car felt cleaner and safer. This was the ONLY hotel room we could find in Texas City, Houston, Humble, Spring. We called at least 100 places. Please Hotels.com remove this from your list. It’s NOT up to what your customers deserve.

This property was not was I expected it to be from the online pictures and information. Part of this may have been my fault. I didn't realize it is an extended stay property. The outside of the building was not in great shape. The paint was old and drab and peeling in some places. I saw evidence of some rust. Kids were running in and out of the check in area. There seemed to be a lot of confusion about what room I would get. I checked in after check in time, but the clerk did not think my room would be available, so she assigned me to another room. Once I left the check in area, I saw that the property is not in great condition. When I opened the door to my room, I was overcome by fumes probably from whatever they clean with. I had trouble breathing because of this. The room was also very stark with no creature comforts at all- not even carpet on the floor. I immediately returned to the check in area and told the clerk I could not stay there because of the fumes. I asked for a refund, but was told she could not refund me, but would leave a note for the supervisor. This was a week ago, and I have not heard anything from anyone at the property. I will try to contact them myself, but I suspect my efforts for a refund will be in vain.

I had to find another hotel room at 2am and it’s been 2 weeks Expedia the property have yet to resolve this and issue my refund. This place is trash 10/10 don’t recommend !

The property looked very nice from the outside. However, when we got there, there was no one at the reception, I had to dial a number to talk to someone using the phone on the wall. The person who answered seems he was asleep and came down to assist me with my reservation. However, another issue happened, his password was locked and then he had to call one of his friends to assist him. I finally got my 2 card keys, got my staff, and entered the building. Immediately smell marihuana in the hallway. I ignored it and then entered my room. It smelled so humid it was not pleasant. There were no toiletries in the bathroom but one little soap. The next morning, there were people outside my window talking. It was very early so I did not think it was other guests so I assumed it was staff members. Overall the stay was ok for one night but not what I was expecting.

Not a Hotel I’d stay in again
We had arrived late and was only staying one night for a friends funeral. The clerk was not at the desk & I had to call for him to get to the desk. It was a 5-10 minute wait. After he arrived and got my check in information he let me know my reservation for 2 beds was no longer available. My 6’4/ 280 lb.husband & I had to share a full size bed. We both were so exhausted we just had to deal with it. The hallways smelled of smoke, the pillow cases had stains, & there were no drapes on the window. The only thing that was working was the A/C & the hot water. I felt very uncomfortable there with some of the residents. It appears some people were living out of the hotel.

Don’t stay here!
This place is not a hotel, it’s a halfway house or boarding for homeless people! The entire property smelled horribly or awful food, weed/pot and body odor. Elevator was constantly packed with people carrying weeks worth of groceries, carts bicycles and whatever else they could lug around. Lots of screaming and arguing in the common hallways. Hotel was packed full of people but there was only 8-10 cars in the parking lo!! Bussed in I suppose. My opinion is This is not a safe place to stay with family or single women.
