Rude night shift woman (not lady)
So the room was was very clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable. The room was really nice except I couldn’t keep things in the fridge for it was leaking the whole time on the floor creating a good size puddle; the restroom has no fan . I had to go down to the lobby to warm up my food due to no microwave and when I went down to get some things from my vehicle, the night lady was giving me a hard time cuz she had the front sliding doors locked and was pretty rude . She said “what was I doing and if I was a guest in the hotel and that only guests were allowed. When I assured her I was a paying guest she said that I need my card to get back in the building through a side door which the door wouldn’t take my card. I think the hotel is still figuring out some quirks since they are remodeling but that night lady and her rudeness, I will not recommend staying in this hotel

Needed a Word of Warning
Remodeling. Construction worker had to stop chiseling up floor so we could check in. Lobby full of construction debris.We parked in back, went in door on west end, picked our way through building materials down long hallway to the fire escape stairway located at east end of building—elevators were out. Carried bags up stairway (pictured) to 2nd floor, then down long hallway to our room at west end. The 2nd floor appeared to be finished with the refurbishing. The hallway was nice, but long. Our room was very nice. To go to dinner and football game, we went back to the eastern stairway and out the emergency door that had earlier been blocked by heavy equipment. The general manager and one of her employees came to the parking lot to assist us carrying things upstairs. I am 80, my husband 83. I’m sure this will be a lovely place in the future, but we certainly would not have chosen to stay where we were worn out just getting to the room.

Under Renovation
The hotel is undergoing major renovation, which is the only reason I scored some average. Ive always enjoyed my stays here and even with all the constuction it was restful and unobtrusive. The only thing I found on this visit was that the hair dryer needed to be replaced. The handle was broken and the dryer was disgustingly stickie with hair product. Rm 121

Convenient and clean
Overall clean and fresh with some minor possible maintenance issues. The room had a smart TV which I used to log into my Netflix account, which was very convenient. Also located within walking distance to downtown and a few places to eat. I’ve already booked two more stays, and chose this hotel over other chain hotels in the area.
