I was a bit dissapointed because in the announce it said "Parking available" (we choose it because of this) and it ended up being a paid parking (17 euros per day!). Otherwise, the hotel is really nice and quite well located.

The view of the beach at St. Malo was spectacular. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the hotel is quite expensive for what it offers. The breakfast cheeses and meats were dried out. The room was very small and the parking was 350 metres away, in another hotel. There was no place to stop to drop off luggage.

The location of the property was amazing. However the picture showed on the website, showed full door windows looking out to the see, I did feel this was false representation of the room given. We just had a small window that opened onto the sea. Very disappointing.

Excellent stay. Although the room was small, it was scrupulously clean and recently renovated. (Fantastic shower!) Magnificent view from the window (402) -- the room that is shown in the photograph. Amazing location on the beach. Helpful staff.

Beach location perfect if you like a swim. Rooftop bar has a stunning view and you'll get a sunset view that's hard to beat anywhere. Bike storage in the garage across the road was a bit of a faff, once it was in there I felt like it had to stay until I was leaving. Yet I had seen it advertised as bike-friendly on Brittany Tourism site. Staff were helpful but seemed a bit overloaded, perhaps one or two were missing and it's the end of the season. Overall though, a nice hotel and would recommend it.

Basic Hotel
This hotel was just ok. It was great to be able to open the windows and sleep to the sound of waves crashing, but other than that, everything else was just ok. We walked in and there was a dirty q-tip on the floor right outside of the bathroom. We're were doing a longer trip, so had heavier luggage. Instead of being directed to where the elevators were (past reception and around the corner), the person at the front desk watched as we lugged our heavy luggage up to the 4th floor. We went up to the rooftop, which was empty and we were not greeted by the bartender. Not a huge deal, but just a little offputting. If you want to eat right by the hotel, I'd recommend making reservations in advance. However, the walk into St. Malo is not far and there are a ton of great spots there. Le Cafe de Saint Malo has so-so reviews, but we thought it was great! There is a paid parking option, but all of the street parking right by the hotel is free. We traveled in late April and finding a street spot right in front of the hotel was very easy.

Une chambre transformée en frigo pour économie...
Arrivés dans la chambre, le chauffage était coupé, alors qu'il faisait presque 0 degrés dehors. L'affichage "Ne prenez l'ascenseur qu'en cas de nécessité" ou l'affichette dans la cabine de douche comparant les débits d'eau suivant la pomme de douche utilisée pour "prise de conscience", sous couvert d'eco-responsabilité, cherche à culpabiliser les clients. Nous comprenons que couper le chauffage dans la chambre était volontaire. Le personnel est cependant cordial et arrangeant quand nous demandons des couvertures supplémentaires. Le lit est confortable, la vue sur la mer répond à la demande, mais la chambre et la salle d'eau sont exiguës. Nous sommes restés 3 nuits. Le soir du 1er jour, nous constatons que Hotels.com propose la même prestation pour les 2 nuits restantes à 108€ de moins, alors que notre réservation avait été prise près de 2 mois auparavant. Cela pousse à ne réserver ce genre d'hôtels touristiques qu'en Last Minutes. Nous avons contacté par mail la direction de l'hôtel pour tenter de comprendre cette différence, sans réponse malgré notre relance. Il semble qu leurs injonctions à l'économie à tout prix n'est pas donnant-donnant avec les clients.
